EBEN Portugal is the official Portuguese unit of the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) , a leading European organization committed to advancing ethics, integrity, and social responsibility in business and institutional contexts.
As part of a network present in more than 40 countries and supported by 18 formal national chapters, EBEN Portugal serves as a hub for dialogue, research, and collaboration on ethical practices that shape sustainable and responsible organizations.
Our purpose is clear: to create value with ethics. We believe that ethics is not an abstract concept but a practical foundation for building trust, fostering innovation, and ensuring long-term success.
Through EBEN Portugal, we want to
Promote ethical culture in organizations across all sectors
Connect academia, business, and institutions, creating bridges for knowledge exchange and joint initiatives
Develop tools to help organizations cross ethical challenges and strengthen governance.
Encourage responsible leadership, transparency, and accountability as pillars of sustainable development.
By joining EBEN Portugal, organizations and individuals become part of a dynamic European community dedicated to shaping a future where ethics is the heart of decision-making.
EBEN Portugal is represented by the Portuguese Association of Business Ethics APEE, an organization with over 20 years of experience promoting ethics, inclusion, diversity, and organizational well-being.
Through EBEN Portugal, we bring together academics, researchers, students, professionals, and decision-makers in a collaborative space for reflection, learning, and action.
We believe that ethics is not just a principle — it is a strategic asset for sustainable success.
